In this first part, we learn how to play an easy harmonized melody for the classic song, “Amazing Grace”. Then we fancy it up in part 2 with licks and fills.
This is a great one for beginners as well as intermediate players to work on your intonation, vibrato and tone and there is a cool backing track to jam over too!

“I found it both simple & challenging. A slow arrangement with fairly simple right hand picking, but a real challenge to achieve precise innotation & allow the tune to rise to its potential.”
“I have learned a great deal from Pat’s Amazing Grace lesson; much more than just a song. It is difficult on one’s own to avoid ruts and continually playing in one’s comfort zone. Not many of us can make a profession of playing. Not many of us have the time to sit down and learn by ear every song we want to know. As such, learning how another player approaches arrangements and melody is valuable beyond measure and makes being a lap style player that much more rewarding. I recommend Pat’s lessons for their quality, completeness, ease of learning and value. I have used other teachers’ lessons and Pat’s are every bit as good or better. Thank you Pat. I’m already looking forward to another lesson.”
